Welcome to Rwanda

Scenic gem of nature

Owing its name to its endless mountain range, this small country, completely enveloped by nature, is also called the land of a thousand hills. The shores of the Lake Kivu boast some of the best freshwater beaches anywhere on the continent, while one can find many species of monkeys in the Nyungwe Forest National Park that contains vast areas of montane rainforest. The Virunga volcanoes are the most impressive mountains in the world, and among the bamboo forests hide some of the world’s last remaining mountain gorillas.
